She's a keeper!
I haven't fully convinced Tony but I'm also hoping that it won't be hard to do! I have been thinking about it a lot and decided that I'd really like to keep the other white little girl. (one is already spoken for) We just love the white coat that the girls have gotten from their dad. It's absolutely beautiful. I figure since I'm the one that has to clean up all the POOP I should be able to keep one if I want, right? Anyhow, hopefully he see's it my way! If not, well.....we'll deal with that when it happens but for now, isn't she beautiful?
Sleeping Beauties
Here are the pups about a week and a half old. They lost their identities yesterday. (Their colored ribbons had to be cut off again and I didn't have anymore to replace them.) I wigged out for just a little bit and then I decided that they are all growing so well that I could chill out about who is eating when and such. Here's the girls and boys in a pile catching a nap!

Trip to the vet and almost a week old
Took the puppies to the vet on Thursday. They are all doing well and have had their dew claws removed. Cabela sat in the van for the trip which was a good thing because even I was a little sick when I could hear the babies cry from the waiting room! They were happy to nurse with their mom all the way home afterward. Cabela was grateful for a much needed break after we got home. She is starting to feel more comfortable away from the box to take a walk and get a little exercise. The puppies are getting fatter and longer. I had to resize their identification collars as the others were getting to small. They have started wagging their tails while they nurse now. It's the cutest thing.

Happy Easter
Happy Easter! The Easter Bunny brought us puppies this year. Everyone is safe and warm. Cabela is a great mother. She is caring well for her puppies. We have had a couple of long nights checking on the pups and mom every two hours to make sure that we have everyone and that they are eating. The kids have jumped in and help during the daytime. Kayla has gotten quite good at counting heads, checking the temp of the whelping box, making sure that Cabela has food and water, putting the puppies up to nurse and giving Cabela lots of love! She has been a great help.
Puppies
They made it! Not just three but seven! Seven beautiful babies! Cabela is such a good mom. She did great delivering them and they are all healthy and happy. They are eating and growing. 2 yellow female, 3 black female, 2 black male.
Here is Cabela the night before she delivered her pups.
